The Hallelujah Diet

The hallelujah diet has become very popular recently, but many people have never heard of it. The founder of the hallelujah diet is Reverend George Malkmus. This diet is similar to many other diets out on the market, with the similar claims to help clear up many different medical issues. The Hallelujah diet is based on the concept that you need to eat mainly raw foods, fresh fruits, vegetables and grains. It also recommends certain nutritional supplements.

The Hallelujah diet seems to appear mainly in the Christian community. It has been said that it is one of the many versions of the "Edenic Diet." Malkmus claims that the diet will heal people from diseases and illnesses and will even help people live longer. He bases this on the biblical side of the diet, saying that it is "God's way to optimal health."

Many people claim to have reaped the benefits of the Hallelujah diet, and state that it can do what medical professionals cannot - that is, cure them from certain diseases and ailments. They claim that we were not made to put artificial products into our bodies and that is why this diet works so well. Like most of the Edenic diets, this one doesn't have the scientific backing to prove its credibility, but that doesn't mean that it can't work. Many people have to try the diet to see if helps them personally. Nutritionists do recommend eating plenty of fruits and vegetables, and whole grains, as does the Hallelujah diet.

Potential Problems with the Hallelujah Diet

However, as with many other diets, there are concerns that have been raised about some possible dangers of the Hallelujah diet. There are claims this diet is unhealthy as it is too low in carbohydrates and too low in protein as well. People have also gone on to say that the diet reduces your energy levels as the calorie intake is dangerously low. Some people claim that the Hallelujah diet is also missing key nutrients that the body needs to be able to perform correctly. The proponents claim that is where the supplements come in to play and that there are no health risks. We all know that with any diet there can be risks. You need to talk with your doctor before starting any type of diet, including the Hallelujah diet, to ensure that you are doing what is right for you and your body.
